"I've had support through the whole job search process, from resume development to actually bringing the employers to me at the Career Fair. The Fair was an amazing opportunity to compare agencies, non profits, defenders, prosecutors and more - all right on campus. There was something for everyone."

What do you do for fun in Tucson?
I try and make as much time as possible for my family. My husband and I go on weekly date nights to check out different, fun restaurants in Tucson. We love going to movies at The Loft. We also try and get out and go hiking from time to time. We're expecting our first child in April, so I'm looking forward to exploring all of the kid-friendly options Tucson has to offer.
What do you like best about Arizona Law?
Arizona Law has an outstanding, hands-on faculty. I have learned so much, and faculty members are not only great in class, but also extremely accessible outside of class. Additionally, our Indigenous Law and Policy Program (IPLP) faculty handles fascinating, real-world cases that students get to work on. Last semester IPLP sent me to the United Nations in Geneva to support an indigenous delegation during the UN's first-ever review of the United States' entire human rights record. It was truly an amazing experience, and one that I don't believe I would have received at any other law school in the country.
I'm also very involved in the Native American Law Students Association (NALSA). Arizona Law's NALSA chapter made such a huge difference my first year. They host outlining, exam-taking, and job-searching sessions for first-year students, in addition to generally providing a wonderfully welcoming and supportive community environment.
