More than sixty alumni, students, and friends joined Dean Toni Massaro, faculty and host Stephen Golden ('02) at the New York City area alumni reception on January 3, 2008. Held in the striking new home of The New York Times, attendees learned about the Law Commons transformation and Arizona Law initiatives. Dean Toni Massaro announced the Arizona Ambassadors, a recently-established national network of mentors and alumni supporters who will assist the rapidly growing number of graduates launching their careers in major metropolitan areas far beyond Arizona. New York Times Legal Correspondent Adam Liptak delivered remarks to the group, followed by a brief question-and- answer session. Alumni ranged from well-established New York practitioners, to recent graduates now working in New York City, to graduates who now teach law.
