About the Annual McCormick Lecture
Thc J. Byron McCormick Society for Law and Public Affairs was formed to honor the memory of J. Byron McCormick who served the State of Arizona with great distinction as President of the University of Arizona, as Dean of the University's College of Law, and as an advisor to the Arizona Board of Regents.

This year’s J. Byron McCormick Lecture took place on Monday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. in the Crowder Hall Auditorium. The speaker was Richard J. Goldstone, retired justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. The topic was, “The Consequences of the United States Abdicating its Moral and Political Leadership of the Free World.”
