Event: Divided by a Common Law: A Comparative Perspective on British and American Commercial Litigation


A Conversation with John M. DeStefano III, Snell & Wilmer LLP 2012 American Inns of Court Pegasus Scholar -- sponsored by The College of Law’s Business Law Program and Business Law Society


The program will focus on organization of the legal profession and litigation in the U.K., with particular emphasis on the roles of solicitors and barristers, litigation strategy in a fee-shifting regime, important differences in commercial and contract law of the U.S. and the U.K., and lessons for the U.S. legal system and its litigators.


Professor Jean Braucher will moderate.
