Event: Faculty Workshop: Experiential Learning Pedagogy & Course Development

The February Bar Curriculum Working Group is pleased to invite faculty to a live 90-minute CLE workshop on 'Experiential Learning Pedagogy and Course Development', followed by a wine & cheese reception in the Snell & Wilmer Courtyard.  


The event is open to all regular and adjunct faculty members who currently teach an experiential curriculum and to those interested in using these techniques in new or existing courses.  Faculty supervising internship and externship placements are encouraged to attend.


Topics will include:  reviewing ABA and College of Law Curriculum Standards and Rules; defining experiential learning; designing experiential learning courses; recognizing contexts and constraints; conducting student assessment and evaluation; identifying best practices for externships.  A teaching manual and other helpful materials will be provided.
