Event: 'Saving the Neighborhood' Conference

A day-long mini-conference on the book by Carol Rose and Rick Brooks, Saving the Neighborhood (Harvard Press 2013).  The book tells the highly charged, still controversial story of the rise and fall of racially restrictive covenants in America, and focuses on the ways in which legal and social norms reinforce and counteract each other.

Panelists will include:  Robert W. Gordon, Stanford Law School; Risa Goluboff, University of Virginia School of Law; Price V. Fishback, University of Arizona - Eller College of Management; Lani Guinier, Harvard Law School; Gabriel 'Jack' Chin, UC Davis School of Law; Gerald Torres, University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
