Event: Learn to Help Seniors With Advance Directives - On Campus Training

Each year students from the College of Law perform an invaluable service for the community -- and learn important practice skills -- helping senior citizens finalize their advance directives for end-of-life care. Students are trained in the substance and execution of advance directives. Then, at a hands-on clinic they work with seniors, talking through their decisions and completing the paperwork. Volunteer lawyers supervise to ensure that all state requirements are met.

The training is mandatory. If you cannot make the clinic on October 17, but you want to help in the future, you are welcome to join us for the training.

Training: Friday Oct.4, noon in Room 160. Lunch provided. RSVP to jmburch@email.arizona.edu

Clinic: Thursday, October 17, 9:30AM to 1:00PM, Armory Park Senior Center.
Location: Room 160
