Registration & Resume Upload Instructions

 

  1. You register ONCE, and thereafter access the system via the “Student Login”.  You will be required to select your employers when you register.  However you do NOT have to upload your materials at registration time.

  2. Your list of employer selections will be on your “Profile Page”.  Beside each employer link is a list of materials required by the employer. 

  3. When you click on the employer name, you will be taken to a page where you upload your materials for that employer in ONE file, in this order:  cover letter, resume, writing sample, transcript, references.  

  4. All materials must be in PDF, or the employer will not be able to access. You can upload and correct materials, add or delete employers until the deadline.

  5. Your separate cover letters to each employer must be customized and addressed to each employer – however there will be no signature between your closing (Sincerely) and your typed name.

  6. If a transcript is requested, you may prepare an unofficial transcript. 
  7. HINT:  For ease of uploading, save all of your 2009 IMPACT materials in one folder on your computer so you can easily move through the upload process.  Make sure your cover letters are identified by employer.  You may also have slightly differing resumes for certain employers – e.g., firms, government, or public interest.   NOTE:  Do not use hyphens, asterisk, or any symbols when naming your document - ONLY LETTERS.
