The Defense Research Institute (DRI) is holding a seminar for women lawyers on March 25-26, in Scottsdale. For a low-cost student membership of $20, law students can attend the event for free. “Sharing Success – A Seminar for Women Lawyers” offers an opportunity to meet and network with female lawyers from all over the U.S. and Canada, as well as attend presentations on a variety of topics, including “Business 101 for Female Lawyers,” “Women Litigators and Juror Perceptions,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers? The Arizona Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Conference will be held in Sedona on February 5-7 (Friday afternoon through Sunday). There are a limited number of scholarships available for law students (covering conference registration fees only), and applications for scholarships are due on December 15th (with scholarship awards finalized by January 1st).
