Course Description

This course discusses prosecution and defense of crimes of a sexual nature. While Arizona caselaw and statutes are referenced, emphasis of the course is on broader policy issues not necessarily limited to Arizona law. The course covers adult sexual assault and related offenses; offenses involving the sexual exploitation of children; crimes involving child pornography; and discussion of Sexually Violent Person civil commitments.
