| Walter Nash has been a trial lawyer in Tucson, Arizona since 1971. His practice focuses primarily on the area of criminal justice. He graduated with distinction from the University of Arizona with a degree in economics in 1968 and from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1971. He is a member of the bar in Arizona, is admitted to practice before a number of Federal District Courts and Courts of Appeals, and has argued before the United States Supreme Court. His present activities include serving as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Arizona College of Law in criminal law, as a member of the Morris K. Udall Inn of Court, the Criminal Justice Act Panel Lawyer Screening Committee for the District Court, and a number of other local, state, and national professional organizations. His past activities include serving on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Arizona, as President and one of the founding members of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Conference, and as a member of the State Bar of Arizonas Professionalism Task Force, the Pima County Bar Association Board of Governors, and a number of other professional committees and task forces. Mr. Nash is an AV rated lawyer and listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.
