• Bureau of Justice Statistics Homepage The Bureau of Justice Statistics, part of the U.S. Department of Justice, is the United States' primary source for criminal justice statistics. This website contains statistics in such areas as crime, law enforcement, offenders, corrections, etc.
• Capital Defense Weekly Maintained by a Boston attorney, this website contains news, case updates, briefs, manuals, and other tools dealing with death penalty cases.
• Cybercrime Maintained by the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, this site contains information regarding computer and intellectual property crimes, such as links to statutes, cases, how to report computer crime, etc.
• Death Penalty Issues Maintained by the ABA, this site contains links to reports and resources concerning the death penalty.
• Federal Bureau of Prisons Contains general information about the Bureau of Prisons, inmate information, contact information, etc.
• National Criminal Justice Reference Service This site contains publications relating to corrections, courts, crime prevention, criminal justice statistics, drugs and crime, international issues, juvenile justice, law enforcement, research and evaluation, and victims.
• Manual for Courts-Martial United States (2002 ed.) This manual contains the Rules for Courts-martial, the Punitive Articles with explanations, the Military Rules of Evidence, and other materials relating to courts-martial; it is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format and is 891 pages long so expect a short wait to download.
• National Archive of Criminal Justice Data Maintained by the University of Michigan, this website provides downloadable access to criminal justice data collections free of charge.
• Office for Victims of Crime Part of the U.S. Department of Justice, this website contains information concerning help for crime victims, fact sheets, statutes, etc.
• Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics This website brings together data about all aspects of criminal justice in the United States, broken down by characteristics of the criminal justice systems, public attitudes toward crime and criminal justice-related topics, nature and distribution of known offenses, characteristics and distribution of persons arrested, judicial processing of defendants, and persons under correctional supervision.
• United States Parole Commission Contains general information concerning the Commission, victim/witness information, etc.
• United States Sentencing Commission Contains Sentencing Guideline manuals, training worksheets and other materials, regulations, information on court decisions, etc.
