Cracchiolo Law Library is to support the curricular, scholarship and research needs of the James E. Rogers College of Law’s students and faculty. In addition, the law library provides legal materials and reference assistance for the faculty, staff and students of the University as a whole and for the local bar and general public. The law librarians and staff strive to assist all those seeking legal information with the use of library printed and electronic materials through the use of in-person reference assistance, printed and electronic research guides and pathfinders, and maintenance of accurate and informative records in the University’s online catalog. Call Number Location GuideThe law library has a subject guide with corresponding call numbers for United States law materials located in the library. CollectionThe law library contains over 420,000 volumes of Anglo-American legal materials as well as outstanding international and foreign law collections. Friends of the Law LibraryIf you are a user of the law library and/or a book lover, please support the library by joining Amici Legis Libris, a "friends of the law library" organization. Getting HereThe law library is located within the Law Commons of the James E. Rogers College of Law on the University of Arizona Campus at 1201 E. Speedway Boulevard (northwest corner of Speedway Blvd. and Mountain Ave.) The entrance is off Helen Street, just west of Mountain Avenue. Directions and a map. Information for AttorneysAlumni and members of the local bar may apply for a Law Library Community User Card in order to check out materials. More information about attorney borrowing privileges and an application form are available online. Information for VisitorsMembers of the general public are welcome to use the law library and provided reference services for their legal research needs. Checkout privileges are reserved for College of Law students, University of Arizona faculty, staff, graduate students, and alumni and members of the local bar with a valid Law Library Community User Card. Materials on Reserve may be checked out for two hours (library use only) by all library users. Patrons without College of Law affiliation may be asked to leave either a University ID, bar card, driver's license or other valid form of identification at the Reserve Desk.
