Recommended Wireless Networking

Requirements

In order to access the wireless network at the college of law, you will need a wireless network card. If you are purchasing a new computer we recommend configuring it with an internal wireless network card, otherwise any 802.11b or 802.11g compatible wireless network card will work with our system. We recommend LinkSys brand cards as they are affordable, reliable, and proven to work well with our system.

The best prices on wireless network cards are usually from BestBuy, or buy.com.

Recommended Wired Networking

Requirements

Most recent computers will have a built-in Ethernet card and port. If you need to purchase and Ethernet card for your computer, any currently available Ethernet cards will work on our system.
