Prof Anaya Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Prof. Anaya, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, has recently been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work with indigenous peoples around the world. A member of Norway’s Parliament stated that he nominated Prof. Anaya particularly for his efforts in bringing the impact of climate change and exploitation of natural resources on indigenous peoples to the attention of the world.
