Constitutional Law I

A study of the role of the courts in the constitutional system and of the allocation of governmental power under the federal constitution. The first part of a basic treatment of the principles of U.S.  Constitutional law, the course emphasizes judicial review, justiciability, the principles of federalism, separation of powers, and problems under the commerce clause.
