The operation of businesses requires the pooling of resources possessed by various people and institutions (e.g., capital, managerial skills, labor, knowledge, etc.).  The law of enterprise organization enables people and institutions to enlist resources to advance a common goal, allowing efficient utilization of these resources while preventing one person or group from exploiting others.  This legal framework is about cooperation facilitation.  This course will survey core concepts related to the organization of economic activities, present the basic legal rules that regulate the organization of businesses, and will address key issues in the formation and operation of business enterprises.
