In 1967, alumni and friends organized The Law College Association of The University of Arizona for the purpose of providing support and financial assistance to the College of Law. The Law College Association also serves as the alumni association for the College.

The Law College Association is governed by a board of 50 alumni and friends of the College, who meet three times a year to offer advice and assistance to the College's administration, organize fundraising activities and implement a budget designed to supplement the needs of the College. The Law College Association funds provide support to the College on many levels, from endowed student scholarships to named faculty professorships. The annual fund also provides support for various academic programs, including the four in-house clinics; faculty recruitment expenses; the law library; alumni continuing legal education and enrichment programs; and travel for student organizations.

In addition to its fundraising activities, the Law College Association plays an important role as liaison between the College and its alumni. The Law College Association's annual fund supports both alumni and student events, including the annual visit to the College by the Arizona Supreme Court, graduation ceremonies, the annual Homecoming barbecue, and the LCA annual appreciation dinner. The annual fund also supports the College of Law's alumni newsletter, From the Dean.

The Law College Association provides a vital bridge between the College and its alumni and friends. Through both fundraising activities and hosting events, the Law College Association not only provides an opportunity for alumni to continue their relationships with the College and their classmates, but also provides necessary support to the College of Law and it students.

The Law College Association is a 501(c)(3) organization. Thus, contributions to the Law College Association are tax deductible. If you are interested in contributing to the Law College Association to support the College, you may send a check made payable to the Law College Association to:
