3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Event: Election Protection Training Session

On Election Day, the 2012 Pima County Election Protection effort will be based out of the law school and the Command Center will be in the Club Conference Room (138). Volunteers include local attorneys, judges, and law students. Attorneys from California and Washington, DC are flying in to assist.  There will be a lot of activity and foot traffic on Election Day, beginning well before 6am and going late into the night.  There will be signage posted directing volunteers unfamiliar with campus where to go, but if someone wearing an Election Protection t-shirt looks lost, please help them out!

It is not too late to volunteer!  The out-of-town attorney volunteers will receive a last-minute training in Arizona Election Law, on Monday at 3pm in Room 17 (downstairs in Library).  If you wish to participate and receive a field assignment on Election Day, email Danielle Roberts ASAP with your name, email address, cell phone number, time of day available on Tuesday (min. shift is 2 hrs.) and name of your field partner (otherwise one will be assigned).

Many thanks,

Danielle Roberts
