DeStefano III, Snell & Wilmer LLP 2012 American Inns of Court Pegasus Scholar -- sponsored by The College of Law’s Business Law Program and Business Law Society The program will focus on organization of the legal profession and litigation in the U.K., with particular emphasis on the roles of solicitors and barristers, litigation strategy in a fee-shifting regime, important differences in commercial and contract law of the U.S. and the U.K., and lessons for the U.S. legal system and its litigators. Professor Jean Braucher will moderate.
12:15 PM - 1:15 PM This workshop features a mock interview with Bruce Chalk, Esq., Head of Law Clerk Hiring Committee, Pima County Attorney's Office, Criminal Division. We will also cover what to expect in different types of interviews, how to respond to offers, etc.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM You are invited to join us each Friday this semester for 60 Minutes from Indian Country, a brown bag discussion series hosted by American Indian Studies, Indigenous Peoples Law & Policy, Native Nations Institute, and Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office.
