Event: Faculty Enrichment: A Workshop with John J. Donohue III

Faculty Enrichment:  Workshop some of John Donohue's current work in the Faculty Lounge and discuss research findings and suggestions.  Lunch will be provided.


John J. Donohue III is the C. Wendell and Edith M. Carlsmith Professor of Law at Stanford Law School and one of the leading empirical researchers in the legal academy over the past 25 years.  Professor Donohue is an economist as well as a lawyer and uses empirical analysis to determine the impact of law and public policy in a wide range of areas.

Do you know someone interested in law school? Prospective law students can learn about the law school admissions process at this Arizona Law Info Session.  The 90 minute session will be presented by admissions office staff and will include informaiton on program opportunities for students, the law school application process, admissions decisions, and financial aid. The program will include a tour of the Arizona Law campus.

Event: QuantLaw - The Data Speaks: A Closer Look at Gun Violence with John Donohue

Stanford Law Professor, John Donohue, expert on empirical research and gun viloence, will launch the QuantLaw Program at Arizona Law.  He will discuss the many legal and social issues in which researchers have turned to quantitative analysis to better understand the scope of the program and the efficacy of proposed solutions.  CLE credit available.
