 Sure, you might have learned legislative history at some point, but do you remember it? Being able to do good federal legislative history research can provide you with excellent persuasive authority in your legal arguments, as well as a great way to distinguish yourself at your summer or future job.So, come to this week's Lunchtime Learning for a quick refresher or a good introduction to legislative history.

Event: Civil Justice Program Inauguration featuring Thomas V. Girardi

James E. Rogers College of Law presents the inaugural program of its Civil Justice Program with a special guest:  Thomas V. Girardi, Esq. of Girardi & Keese, Los Angeles.  Mr. Girardi will deliver a lecture entitled:  "Jurors No Longer Decide Facts - They Decide Philosophies."

Widely regarded by his peers as one of the nation's top trial lawyers and with nearly 50 years of experience representing victims, Mr. Girardi has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements handling a variety of cases.  In 2003, he was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame, by the California State Bar, and has received many awards and recognitions for his contributions to the legal profession.
