Event: Pride Week: Pride Law Bake Sale

The Tucson Pride festival is Saturday, October 12. As part of 'Pride Week,' Pride Law will have a bake sale to raise funds for future events.

Event: SALDF Speaker Event: Mike Duffey on Investigating Animal Cruelty

The Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) presents Mike Duffey for its first speaker meeting of the year. Mike Duffey is an animal cruetly investigator for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.  He is also the Co-founder and Co-chair for the Animal Cruelty Taskforce of Southern Arizona and President-Elect for the International Vet Forensics Sciences Association.

The meeting will begin promptly at noon. Lunch will be provided.

Event: Richard Grand Writing Competition Information Session

Learn about past writing topics and other competition details.  NOTE:  The competition is only open to students at the James E. Rogers College of Law. All students are eligible to participate. The top five student participants will receive cash prizes.

Event: Lunchtime Learning - Character and Fitness Bar Preparation

 Did you know that you not only have to be knowledgable to be admitted to the Bar?  You also need to show that you have character, as well as competence.  Come learn about ways you can prepare for your upcoming character and fittness examimation.

Event: Run off-Jenckes Competition & Trial Competition Team

 This runoff round, in which the top five contestants will repeat their arguments, will be on Thursday, October 10, at 3:00 pm in Room 164. The top two contestants will represent the law college in the competition against ASU on November 1.
