Event: George Rountree - Executive in Residence

George Rountree (JD '60, BA, 55), Rountree Losee, Wilmington, NC, will be 'Executive in Residence' at Arizona Law.  Mr. Rountree will participate in classes, meet with faculty and students, and participate in University events during his stay in Tucson, January 15-23.

Mr. Rountree's primary areas of practice include admiralty and maritime, arbitration, business law and planning, corporate, ligation, mediation, and wills/trusts/estates.  In addition to his may professional achievements and honors, Mr. Rountree is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and is an inductee into the Hall of Fame of the Norht Carolina Bar Association.

Event: PCLP Speaker: Kyle Ipson

This Wednesday, Jan 22nd, the Program in Criminal Law and Policy is proud to host Kyle Ipson from the Pima County Public Defender's Office. 

Mr. Ipson graduated from Baylor School of Law in November, 1984. Mr. Ipson has formerly served as Deputy District Attorney, 7th Judicial District, Gunnison, Colorado (1990-1994), as Chief Deputy District Attorney, 6th Judicial District, Durango, Colorado (1994-1996) as well as  Alternate Defense Counsel, 6th Judicial District, Durango, Colorado, (1996-2002).

Mr. Ipson has extensive experience in criminal trial practice from 1984 to present and will be speaking to us about cases involving special victims (SVU cases).
