Arizona Bar Exam Applications

July 24 and 25, 2012

 

 

NEW FOR  JULY 2012 EXAM - The Arizona Supreme Court has mad a rule change which recognizes the Arizona Bar Examinations as the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) beginning in July, 2012.  Applicants passing a UBE would be allowed to transfer a passing score earned in Arizona to other UBE jurisdictions without testing, subject to the rules of that state.  UBE states currently include Alabama, Idaho, Missouri, North Dakota, and Colorado.  Washington will become a UBE state in July, 2013.  UBE rules vary from state to state; please contact specific jurisdiction if you wish to seek admission based on UBE.  Additional information and updates about the Uniform Bar Examination may be found at www.ncbex.org


The Supreme Court announces Arizona Bar Examination licensing testing fee reimbursement for eligible veterans.


The Veteran's Administration program reimburses a portion of costs for certification and licensing tests. To determine if you are eligible, please visit the VA website at
http://www.gibill.va.gov/ or call the VA's Regional Process Office for Educational Benefits at 1-888-442-4551.


Once the VA makes a determination that you are eligible for reimbursement, please contact the Attorney Admissions office at
attorneyadmissions@courts.az.gov or 602-452-3971 for forms. You must authorize our offices to provide information to the VA and must complete a form for submission to the Veteran's Administration. Eligibility, amounts of reimbursement, and all policy for this program is determined by the Veteran's Administration and is subject to change.


California Bar Exam - July 24, 25 and 26, 2012

 

The July 2012 CA Bar Exam will take place on July 24, 25, and 26.  Applications will be available beginning March 1, 2012 .  Timely filing deadline is April 1, 2012 and the final filing deadline is June 15, 2012.   The Moral Character process can take up to "4-6 months".  Delays in completing your application can holdup offers.
