- National Center for Adoption Law & Policy - From August 4th through 8th, Capital University Law School (Columbus, OH) will host the third annual Summer Adoption Law Institute (SALI). - American Bar Association Law Student Division Career Fair - The ABA Law Student Division will hold its second annual Career Fair on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square Hotel in New York City. The Career Fair, which takes place in conjunction with the ABA Annual Meeting, provides an opportunity for firms and agencies dedicated to the future of the legal profession to reach out to over 600 law student leaders from across the county. The program is structured as a table-talk event, providing employers the opportunity to speak one-on-one with law student attendees, finding the ideal candidates for their summer and associate positions. - 2008 Summer Adoption Law Institute (SALI) - During this period of registration, we encourage students who are interested in adoption and child welfare law to consider registering for the 2008 Summer Adoption Law Institute (SALI), which is organized by the National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital University Law School.
The Summer Adoption Law Institute (SALI) will take place August 4 through 8 at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. SALI is an intensive one-week Adoption Law class for credit open to law students from across the country. In addition to traditional coursework, students will hear from exciting guest speakers and will participate in practical exercises. A few of the guest speakers that have committed to SALI are: Professor B.J.
