Welcome to the Immigration Law Clinic!
This clinic provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with immigration law by providing services to immigrants in a variety of settings.
We provide three different types of services to the immigrant community in Southern Arizona:
Deportation Defense: Our clinic represents immigrants detained in Eloy, Arizona, and non-detained immigrants in Tucson, Arizona, in their deportation cases. Our clients have included asylum-seekers, victims of domestic violence, and long-time permanent residents seeking humanitarian waivers of removal. We have represented immigrants from all over the world.
Immigration Consultation Clinic: This on-site clinic is open, Feb-April and Sept-Nov, by appointment only. At the clinic, we provide information, advice, and brief services to low income immigrants without legal representation in immigration matters in Southern Arizona. Immigrants can call 626-5232 to set up an appointment.
Immigrant Workers’ Rights: Our Workers' Rights Clinic is open to all low-wage workers, with no questions asked about documentation. At the clinic, we provide information, advice, brief services, and referrals to low-wage immigrant workers in Tucson. Workers can call 621-7331 to set up an appointment. We also provide Know Your Rights presentations in a variety of forums in the community to educate immigrant workers about their rights in the workplace.
