Constitutional Law II is recommended but not required.

This class will study the separation of powers in our federal government by focusing on certain historical events and their impact on constitutional law.  Topics will include the election of 1800, the Civil War, voting rights and the Vietnam War, presidential impeachments, and the war on terror. 

The is no assigned text.  The assigned readings will be based on materials that will be available for purchase at the Bookstore.
