| Overview | Constitutional Law I offers an introduction and overview to the field of Constitutional Law. It covers federalism, that is, the allocation of powers between the federal and state governments; the role of courts in our constitutional system, that is, the important role played by the United States Supreme Court in interpreting the Constitution; and individual rights, with an analysis of the important role of the Due Process and Taking clauses of the Constitution. |
