Overview

Candidates for a position in the clinic must be second or third-year students who have completed, or are concurrently completing, their professional responsibility requirements. Students must also have taken, or be taking concurrently, at least one IP-related course. In addition to those minima, candidates will be evaluated based on their:

- Law school GPA and courses taken
- Undergraduate GPA, courses taken, and honors (if any)
- Relevant work experience (via resume or CV)
- Oral and written communication skills
- (Time permitting) Interview with clinic faculty

In particular, the clinic seeks students with significant IP-related or business law coursework and experience; experience with start-up firms; and motivation and drive.
