2nd Annual ALWD Innovative Teaching Techniques Workshop and Luncheon
Rocky Mountain Regional Legal Writing Conference
University of Arizona Rogers College of Law, Tucson, AZ
Friday, March 19, 2010, 10 am - 2 pm (immediately
preceding start of conference)
Ever wish you had a comfortable and safe environment in
which to try out your teaching ideas, crazy or not, and
receive feedback on them? Do you have a teaching
technique that's a great start, but isn't quite working
out or needs a little something extra? Have you developed
a fresh approach to teaching LRW that you would like to
share with your colleagues? Then come attend the second
annual ALWD Innovative Teaching Techniques Workshop on
Friday, March 19, from 10 - 2 at the Rocky Mountain
Conference in Tucson.
Each participant will have fifteen minutes total in which
to present a teaching idea, answer questions, and
receive feedback. This year the first 12 applicants to
submit proposals to dauphinais@law.und.edu will be
accepted.
Your emailed proposal should include:
1. Your name, school, and contact information,
2. A title for your presentation,
3. Your teaching idea and the questions you have about it
or the feedback you seek, and
4. What your media needs will be and whether you plan to
have handouts.
Please don't hesitate to contact me by email or at
(701)777-6396 if you have any questions. Remember to try
to get your proposals in early, as registration will be
cut off after 12 applications are received.
I look forward to reading your ideas!
