As part of its statewide public education effort, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit will hold oral arguments during an upcoming visit to Tucson. This judicial visit will include arguments in 3 cases: Adobe Systems v. Joshua Christenson, Arizona Libertarian Party v. Ken Bennett, and Mauricio Margain v. Elsa Ruiz-Bours.
Information regarding event registration and procedures will be made available on our web site prior to the event. Seating in the Ares Auditorium is limited. Priority seating is available for law students, attorneys appearing before the Court, and others with confirmed reservations. Remaining seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Case 3: 14-15214 Mauricio Margain v. Elsa Ruiz-Bours
The names of the judges hearing the arguments will be released within one week of the Court's visit. Please check back after January 22, 2015
At the end of the final argument, the judges will be available to answer general questions from audience members. While judges are prohibited from answering questions about pending cases, they can discuss Court operations and the decision-making process.
