| Lorraine C. Gin joined the James E. Rogers College of Law's Legal Writing Program faculty in 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing after working as a Staff Attorney for the Arizona Court of Appeals and Clerking for the Hon. Peter J. Eckerstrom and Hon. Jan Florez. She earned both her B.A. & J.D. from the University of Arizona, graduating cum laude from the College of Law in 1999. In law school, she was an Ares Fellow and the recipient of the Best Brief Award. Following graduation, she clerked for the Pima County Superior Court and then practiced law with Rusing & Lopez, PLLC, in Tucson. From 2001 to 2003, she was also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at the Rogers College of Law. Professor Gin teaches Advanced Legal Writing, formerly Persuasive Communication, and Legal Practice, Analysis, & Law. Beginning Fall of 2011, she will also oversee the spring and fall term Judicial Clerkship Program. |
