Integrated Courtroom Technology, Inc.

The emergence of "courtroom technology" as a public policy requirement for judicial institutions is an unheralded but revolutionary development. The use of sophisticated audio-visual display and presentation systems to present evidence in the courtroom, often complimented by videoconferencing of remote witnesses and real-time transcription of the record, creates a vastly more efficient and qualitatively superior experience for both litigants and the court.

Although, at first reluctantly introduced into the traditional judicial environment, courtroom technology - a remarkably straightforward application of existing automated presentation and display technologies - has become critical to litigants' abilities to persuade and decision-makers' abilities to discern. When the components of these systems are intelligently incorporated into the trial arena - requiring seamless physical integration and intuitive operating controls - the technology provides little disruption to normal trial activities and adds great value to the existing tools and practices of litigation.
