In May 2007, the College of Law began construction to recreate and transform the main law building, renovate the three large outside classrooms, and expand and improve the courtyard that allows us to enjoy Arizona weather all year. The project was completed in August of 2008 - on time, and on budget - and we formally dedicated the building on October 24, 2008. The project created new and improved student space, a state-of-the-art library, and modernized the classroom environment.

See the News section of this site to review photos of the Law Commons. See the Design section of the site for artist renderings and updated plans. Visit the Law Library website for details about the hours and services of the new Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library.

We hope you will share our pleasure as the entire Arizona Law community celebrates this exciting new chapter of the College's life. Current students, faculty, and staff, joined by alumni and friends who provided financial and consulting support for the Law Commons, together created a space to serve many generations of law students, and our alumni and surrounding public community. The gorgeous donor wall is a mosaic of color and community. If you would like to contribute to the project and be represented on the donor wall, please click here.

Sincerely yours,
