In May 2007, the College of Law began construction to recreate and transform the main law building, renovate the three large outside classrooms, and expand and improve the courtyard that allows us to enjoy Arizona weather all year. The project will create new and improved student space and a state-of-the-art library, and will modernize the classroom environment.
Already there are very visible signs of what is to come. See the News section of this site to review photos of the Law Commons as it takes shape. See the Design section of the site for artist renderings and updated plans. See the Public Information pages for details on library location, hours and services. Students, staff, and faculty should refer to detailed information, as it becomes available, in The Big Move section of the site. Please visit these pages regularly for updates.
We hope you will share our pleasure as the entire Arizona Law community moves into this exciting period of the College's life. Current students, faculty, and staff, joined by alumni and friends who are providing financial and consulting support for the Law Commons, are together creating a space to serve many generations of law students, and our alumni and surrounding public community.
