Law Main - Mountain & Speedway Blvd

The Ares Classrooms. Rms. 139, 140 and 146 (the Ares Auditorium), will be in use during the construction period.

Rountree Hall will be operational during the construction period. 

NW Law Complex - Fremont & Mabel Streets

Classroom Commons: A building already under construction will be available for fall, 2007 classes and loaned to the College of Law for its exclusive use during the entire construction period.  This new building will contain seven classrooms, accommodating law classes of up to 50 students each. In addition, the Classroom Commons will have a large area for individual and group study as well as the Library Reserve Collection and a Computer Lab.  The Classroom Commons will be located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Mabel and Fremont Streets.

Corleone Student Center: Directly across from the Classroom Commons is a large building that was formerly Corleone’s Restaurant (northwest corner of Mabel and Fremont Streets).  This structure and its surrounding patio areas will be used by the College of Law for a variety of purposes including a student lounge,  informal study space, both indoor and outdoor, as well as some administrative and student space.  We’re delighted to tell you that food and coffee service are available, as well as a Satellite University Bookstore.

Corleone Apartments: Directly west of the Student Center is a set of four buildings, currently used as residential apartments (northeast corner of Mabel and Park).  These four buildings will be the Corleone Apartments, and will house most faculty, administration, staff, and student activity offices.           

                       
Library Annex - 1501 East Speedway Blvd
The Law Library will be housed in various convenient locations to meet the needs of all during the construction period.  The Library Annex will house much of the permanent library collection.  The Library Annex is convenient to Law Main and is located at the northeast corner of Speedway and Vine (formerly St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and more recently housing Landscape Architecture Studios).  Depending on anticipated needs, other collections will be housed at the Classroom Commons, Student Center, and Rountree Hall. 

Computers will be available throughout the NW Law Complex.  Library staff will be mobile, serving students and faculty wherever they need service.  One or more will be located in each building in the NW Law Complex.
