In order to facilitate emergency procedures and recovery from disaster, the Library materials listed below have priority when carrying out salvage operations. These are materials considered to have special importance to the overall collection or functioning of library operations, uniqueness of quality, or individual value and should be dealt with first in any salvage operation. These elements should also be considered for removal during an emergency situation if time permits, and only if the safety of personnel is not jeopardized.
