ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to Professor Jane Korn, who is one of two UA professors chosen for the University-wide Graduate Teacher and Mentor Award.  This is a great honor for a wonderful teacher who has given so much to her students over the past 15 years.  Professor Korn was chosen from nominations of faculty from throughout the campus who teach at the graduate level.

SMALL SECTION MEETINGS. First year small sections will meet this week to receive information on the upper level curriculum, course selection and requirements, etc.  If you are not able to attend the meeting with your own small section, please attend one of the other sessions.  The schedule is as follows:

Volunteers are still needed for the March Community Service Board Project this Saturday, March 29, at Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT).  Up to 20 volunteers are needed to help clean the barn and tack room, and to assist the Barn Manager with other projects around the property.  We will meet at the law school at 8:30 a.m. and car pool to TROT to work from 9:00 a.m.-Noon.  If you would like to join us, please e-mail Martha Fenn at fenn@law.arizona.edu or sign up on the sheet posted in the law school lobby.

Judicial Clerking Program, Summer and Fall 2003. The Judicial Clerking Program provides an opportunity to get an inside look at the judicial system.  You will work with a judge (and her or his staff) observing courtroom and in-chamber activities and doing research and writing projects.  If you are interested in participating either this coming summer or fall, you need to come to the sign-up meeting on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26 at 12:15 in Room 140.  You cannot register for the program without attending the meeting or, if you have a conflict at that time, talking to Andy Silverman.
