ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the Moot Court Team consisting of Kathleen Hale, Brian Palmer, and James Sowka for winning Best Brief and for accumulating the second highest score (brief and oral combined) coming out of the preliminary rounds at the national regional moot court competition.  The team of Melissa English, Angela Lutich, and Garry Pohoretsky also performed very well.  The competition was held November 14 - 15 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Toy Collection.  The Immigration Law class is assisting BorderLinks to collect toys for a Christmas party in Nogales, Mexico, for over 1000 children.  The class took a border tour this semester through BorderLinks, which does educational and service work along the border and has facilities here and in Nogales.  There is a box for the toys in the law school lobby, next to the drinking fountain.  We would appreciate toys that are new or used, in good condition, that are non-violent and non-military in nature.  Please do not wrap them so that they can be taken across the border.  The Immigration Law students and I would greatly appreciate any donations of toys that you can make.  And the children of Nogales will be overjoyed!!!

Scholarship Information:  Information on the following is kept in the red scholarship book in Room 118; all University of Arizona and College of Law scholarships are posted on the Financial Aid bulletin board outside the Student Lounge:
