TIME TO FILE YOUR 2004 - 2005 FAFSA.  To determine eligibility for federal Stafford loans, or to be considered for need-based scholarships, a new FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be submitted each year.  Beginning January 1, 2004, you can complete your FAFSA online for the academic year 2004 - 2005 using estimated figures.  When you have completed your income taxes, you are required to file a correction updating the information (the original filing date will not change).  This assures you do not miss the March 1, 2004 deadline required by the University of Arizona and College of Law for need-based funds. The Federal Government’s brochure takes you through the easy steps on how to file your FAFSA online and apply for a PIN (Electronic Signature), or duplicate if you have lost yours. These brochures are now available in Room 118 on the wall outside my office.  If you filed a FAFSA for the prior academic year 2003 - 2004, then you only need to file a 2004 - 2005 Renewal.  If this is your first time filing, then you will file a 2004 - 2005 FAFSA Form.  If you have any questions, or need assistance in filing, please contact Kim Marlow at
