The College of Law Bulletin is published at the beginning of each week of the semester. To place an announcement or event in the Bulletin, please e-mail your information to Martha Fenn at or put a note in her box in Rm. 242. ATTENTION FIRST YEAR STUDENTS:  During the week immediately following Spring Break your small sections will meet individually to get information on selecting classes for next fall and beyond.  You will receive important information about the curriculum, course selections and recommendations, registration, etc.  If you cannot attend your small section's meeting, please attend one of the other meetings that week.  The schedule is as follows:

The American Constitution Society and Pridelaw invite everyone to attend a balanced forum and discussion on access to civil marriage for same-sex couples in Arizona.  3:30 - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9 in Room 140.

Paul Marcus/PILO Summer Fellowship. Will you be participating in a volunteer public interest job or project this summer? Would you like to get paid for it? The PILO/Paul Marcus Summer Fellowship provides funding for two students engaged in public interest work over the summer, with the stipend amounts being $2,500 for full-time work and $1,250 for part-time wok. To find out how to apply for the fellowship, come to the informational meeting on Monday, March 8, at 12:20 p.m. in Room 140.

Andrew Silverman Community Service Awards. In an effort to recognize student community service, each year the Law School honors one student in each class, and one student organization, with the Andrew Silverman Community Service Awards.  Nominate yourself or a friend who inspires you through his or her community service. Two professors in the Department of Management and Policy at the Eller School are looking for a law student who would be interested in publishing an article with them.  Professor Barry Goldman and Professor Mickey Quinones are doing research on legal issues that affect organizational training programs. They are looking for a law student to research legal cases that involve organizational training issues, and to help with proofreading and other issues.  They hope to publish their article in a management journal and would like to make the student the third author on the paper. Ideally, this should be someone who has an interest in legal scholarship.  If you are interested, please contact Barry Goldman at
