ATTENTION FIRST YEAR STUDENTS: This week your small sections will meet individually to get information on selecting classes for next fall and beyond. You will receive important information about the curriculum, course selections and recommendations, registration, etc. If you cannot attend your small section's meeting, please attend one of the other meetings that week. The schedule is as follows:
Animal Cruelty and Neglect: “How Prosecutors in Pima County Handle Animal Abuse Cases.” Presented by Kathi Mayer, Assistant County Attorney, Pima County Attorneys Office, Tuesday, March 23, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m., Rm. 106. Pizza will be provided. Sponsored by the law school Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter.
B.Y.O.B. "Bring Your Own Blanket" - MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF 2005 - The Faculty and Administration of the College of Law request the honor of your presence at the 2L Picnic!

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to volunteer for the April Community Service Board Project. Come help Tucson’s most famous Carlos Santana look-alike and the Community Service Board paint the Casa Maria Soup Kitchen offices on SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 9:00 a.m. - Noon. Free music, autographs, and soup! If you would like to join us, please e-mail Martha Fenn at fenn@law.arizona.edu or sign up on the sheet posted in the law school lobby. Space is limited, so please sign up early.
The Grand Damages Competition is a closing argument competition in which each contestant makes a closing argument for the plaintiff in an injury cases, limited to the issue of damages. The preliminary round of the will be held on April 12 and April 14. The final round will be held on Monday, April 19. Students who are taking, or have taken, Basic Trial Advocacy can sign up for the competition. If you are interested in entering the competition, please sign up on the form posted on Professor Mauet's office door (Rm. 224).
