Attention 1L Students: MARK YOUR CALENDARS for a very special event on Friday, January 19, 2007, at noon in Room 146. Dean Toni Massaro invites you to meet the College of Law's Board of Visitors at noon in Room 146. The annual 1L luncheon will follow at 12:45 p.m. in the Eller College of Management Atrium. Juvenile Detention Teaching Program. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, January 11 at 12:15 p.m. in Room 128. Students receive one unit of independent research and will team teach spending a weekend discussing law with teens in Juvenile Hall. Any questions? Ask Professor Hegland, Greg Rodriguez, or any of the students who have done it. (They have loved it!)

Interested in being a VLP Advocate this semester? The Volunteer Lawyers Program is looking for student volunteers to work with clients and assist attorneys in the areas of Domestic Relations, Child Support, Bankruptcy and Intake Client Interviewing. All students are welcome. Training will be provided. Students may volunteer for as many or as few slots as their time allows. If you would like to get some great pro bono experience, please come to a mandatory meeting for Spring volunteers on Wednesday, January 17, at 12:20 p.m. in Rm. 138.
