The Environmental Law Society will meet on Monday, September 24, from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. in CC-114. We will discuss our charity fundraiser, faculty informal potluck, and selling tote bags. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, September 25:  Latino Law Student Association will be holding its second meeting of the year in CC-109 at 12:30 p.m. We will be discussing the upcoming golf tournament and mentoring programs. Tuesday, September 25, 4:00 p.m., Rm. 140 - Prominent constitutional historian Dr. Roger Pilon, Esq., the founder and director of CATO’s Center for Constitutional Studies, will be speaking at the law school on September 25 at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Pilon has been featured on such shows as Nightline, 60 Minutes, and the O’Reilly Factor. Dr. Pilon is a frequent contributor to such newspapers as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post. On September 25, he will be discussing his influential interpretation of the Constitution as well as the role of natural rights in that interpretation. The event will be held in Room 140 at the law school at 4:00 p.m.

Outlining Workshop for 1Ls:  On Thursday, September 27, in Room 140, the Senior Writing Fellows will present a workshop for first-year students on course outlining. We’ve timed this workshop to coincide with the time period when many students begin outlining their first-year courses. Attendees can expect:  (1) a presentation on outlining; (2) a time for questions and answers; (3) handouts - excerpts of sample outlines; and (4) food. All are welcome.
