DirecTV in the Student Lounge:  If you have an opinion on a silent news broadcast, please send your thoughts to sba@law.arizona.edu. This is the last week students have to respond with their opinion on carrying a newscast (no audio) on a monitor. Thanks for your input!

Group Study Room Use Cards:  In order to optimize the use of the library’s group study rooms, a new protocol now exists :  swipe cards to unlock the rooms will be checked out at the Circulation Desk to Law students only. Please be prepared to present your CatCard as you would to use other Reserve materials. Please also be certain that the contact information (especially a current, preferably local phone number) in Student Link is valid. The swipe card will provide access to the room for 4 hours from when it was checked out. The rooms will be locked at all times, so if the room is left empty while you print, for example, be certain to take the swipe card with you. Similarly, if the person to whom the card has been given leaves the study group but others remain, the card must be checked out to someone else occupying the room. The card will be the responsibility of the person to whom it is checked out and should not be handed off to anyone else. Rooms must be vacated at closing time and the cards checked back in. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Circulation Desk where you can reserve rooms for the current week beginning each Monday. Each group may make one reservation per day. REMINDER:  Food is not permitted in the study rooms or elsewhere in the library.

SBA MARCH MADNESS:  Want to compete against the rest of the college of law in a NCAA March Madness Bracket Challenge? Click here http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/25669 and sign up. The password to join the group is:  wildcats.

COFFEE CART:  Your SBA Coffee Cart located in the student lobby is running low on supplies. Before re-stocking, SBA would like your input and suggestions. Currently, the coffee-cart is self-serve and is being sold for $1. A suggestion box will be located on the cart and we encourage suggestions and complaints. Thanks!

Library hours during Spring Break:  The library will keep regular hours during Spring Break, i.e., it will be open 7:00 a.m. - 11:45 p.m., Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday, and Noon - 11:45 p.m., Sunday. Reference librarians will not be available 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and on either Saturday, March 14 and March 21.
