The runoff round to determine the finalists to represent College of Law in the annual Jenckes Closing Arguments Competition was held on Wednesday, October 28. Ed Hopkins, a third year student, and Jonathan Confer, a second year student, came in first and second and will be the College's representatives in this competition against representatives from Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Arizona State University, and The University of Arizona Jenckes Cup competitors have vied for the trophy since 1970.

UPDATE:  This year's Jenckes Competition will be held November 20, 2009, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m., at Arizona State University, Armstrong Hall, Room 114.
