On February 26 at lunch, Timothy Sandefur will come talk about some of the existing challenges to the Affordable Care Act, some of which have to do with what sort of taxes Congress can constitutionally levy (whether this is a direct tax that needs to be apportioned amongst the states) and whether the Affordable Care Act jives with the origination clause.

Timothy Sandefur is an attorney for the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF), a public interest law firm based in Sacramento. PLF recently represented the plaintiffs in Sackett v. EPA, among other Supreme Court cases.
