Training for Preparation of Advance Directives
Date/Time: Friday, October 4, 2013 12:00:PM
Location: Room 160
Each year a small group of students from our school participate in a clinic that helps senior citizens understand and prepare their advance directives for end-of-life care. Students work one-on-one with people who want to complete the required forms. Volunteer lawyers ensure that all the state's requirements are met. It is an often overlooked community service that can make a huge difference in a person, and their loved ones, face end of life experiences. It is also a good thing to know about for ourselves, our families and our future clients.
TRAINING is mandatory. Please come on Friday October 4th noon-1:30 in room 160.
The clinic will take place as part of a health fair on: Thursday, October 17th at Armory Park Senior Center, 10am-1pm.
Student Assistants wil be there by 9:30 (We can make arrangements if you have a class that runs a bit later).
