|Interprofessional/Interdisciplinary Seminar Course|
The UA Sonoran UCEDD (University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) is excited to announce the Trainee Program for Spring 2014. Trainees will participate in the Interprofessional/Interdisciplinary Seminar Course designed for graduate and undergraduate students interested in learning about a broad range of disability issues. The course is designed as a seminar where students explore a broad variety of interdisciplinary perspectives on disability. Students will interact with experts in the disability field and community, participate in case discussions, design an individual or group project, and present their project at the end of the semester. Students will be mentored by a faculty member in their own program or by a Sonoran UCEDD faculty. Students can enroll as a graduate student in FCM696A (Seminar) or as an Independent Study with Dr. Tomasa for variable credit hours. The course will be held on Thursday afternoons from 4 - 5 pm. If you are interested, please contact Lynne Tomasa at 626-7823 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
