UA Rogers College of Law Ranks 5th Among Nation's Law Schools by Hispanic Business MagazineThe James E. Rogers College of Law is the fifth best law school in the country for Hispanic students, according to Hispanic Business Magazine’s annual ranking of graduate schools. The 2006 survey of the nation’s 180 ABA accredited law schools was announced last week, and is published in the September issue of the magazine. Toni M. Massaro, Dean of the Rogers College of Law, said that “the Hispanic Business rankings focus national attention on what we have thoughtfully and deliberately created: a learning environment where every student feels supported and challenged.” The methodology for ranking included the number of Hispanic students, the percentage of Hispanic students compared with total school enrollment, the number and type of programs and services geared towards recruiting and mentoring Hispanic students, the student retention rate, and the school’s standing in U.S. News and World Report rankings.
